Tech Wear's No-Charge Garment Testing Program Tech Wear representatives will evaluate a sample of your present ESD garments, at no charge, to determine if they meet the National ESD Association¹s garment standards (ESD STM2.1-1997) for the protection of electrostatic-discharge susceptible items. If a representative is available in your area, he or she will make arrangements to do the testing at your location. If not, arrangements will be made to ship a sample of your garments via UPS to our nearest location. You will be notified of the results. Our representatives can refer you to independent testing labs as well. Our purpose is to help you ensure that your garments meet National ESD Association standards, and therefore help to avoid the tremendous costs that ESD damage causes. Tech Wear highly encourages all companies, at a minimum, to adopt these standards as company policy, and therefore protect itself against products that do not perform. We have discovered, over the many years of our conducting ESD garment tests, that many of the other garments in the industry simply do not meet National ESDA standards, especially after several washings. Tech Wear guarantees all of its OFX-100 and IVX-100 static control garments to meet ESD STM2.1-1997 for 100 washings.
